The Waldwirtschaft in National Park Bavarian Forest

Right in the center Lusen National Park and close to the new landmark of the region, the tree top walk in Neuschönau, visitors will find a further range of die Erlebnis AKADEMIE AG in Bad Kötzting.

In the newly decorated, cozy Waldwirtschaft that offers bright, welcoming interior and 70 guests in the pretty beer garden up to 400 guests, waiting for the host local delicacies of regional providers. Food and refreshments of all kinds at all around friendly service round off a perfect day out from the culinary.

The new host of Waldwirtschaft, the trained chef Christian Kienberger was previously owner of a restaurant in Cham with over 1,000 seats and is happy now in the National Park Centre Lusen to pamper guests with a varied offer.

The tasty! Potato soup in a bread pan, served a roast pork, specialties from the charcoal grill in the beer garden, cooked mackerel before the guests, pancakes and forest tree tops cup: this is only a small selection from the extensive menu (The menu can be downloaded as a PDF document).

In addition, for this year, a large number of events such as jazz brunch, summer festival, Familiy Day, planned candlelight dinner on the top of the tree tower, and much more.

In the forestry sector we offer a service for self-service. Larger groups will be served on request, against a service charge of 10%, of course. The Waldwirtschaft is open in summer daily from 09.00 to 20.00 clock, with no day off. For events, buses, and groups like the place is also open outside these hours. In case of bad weather and low attendance, we keep it in front of us, close to the Waldwirtschaft earlier.
