The landmark of the Bavarian Forest:
Tree top path with unique tree tower in Neuschönau
Walk 8 to 25 meters above the forest floor in untouched nature and experience unique perspectives – this is made possible by the tree top path in the Bavarian Forest National Park!
Over a total length of approx. 1.3 km, it takes visitors into a seemingly different world and provides insights that would otherwise remain hidden.
You can explore the fascinating nature of the national park from a dizzy height and enjoy fantastic views!
The 1300 meter long footbridge ends on the platform of the impressive “tree tower” at a height of 44 meters and promises a fantastic and almost limitless view: on the one hand towards Lusen to a settlement-free area with pure forest and wilderness, and on the other hand on the cultivated cultural landscape from the Bavarian Forest to the Alps.
At the car park of the animal outdoor area, access to Germany’s longest path of this type is via an entry tower, which, with the help of its elevator, also enables seniors, wheelchair users and parents with prams to have a comfortable and carefree visit.
