Public transport

The tree top walk can be reached by public transport easily from all directions. In the surroundings of Neuschönau The “Igl-Bus” provides cheap and easy services. More information: www.bayerwald-ticket.com/fahrplan-und-tarif/fahrplaene

By Car

Autobahn  A92 from Munich. At the intersection Deggendorf follow the signs to Autobahn A3 for Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald Rachel – Lusen towards Passau.  On Autobahn A3 take the exit 111 Hengersberg/Grafenau and follow again the signs for Nationalpark until you pass Grafenau. Fromhere continue to Neuschönau. About 0,5 km after Neuschönau you will reach the parking area and the entrance to the tree top walk.

Parking area

Directly next to the tree top walk you will find a huge parking area. From all other parking areas within the National Park busses ride frequently to the Hans Eisenmann Visitors Center and the tree top walk.
